When walking in front of the camera, confidence is key. Walk with purpose, keeping your back straight and shoulders relaxed to maintain good posture. Move naturally to avoid looking awkward. Start with your feet slightly apart, letting your arms swing naturally. Step heel to toe, placing one foot in front of the other, and keep your chin up, looking ahead or slightly to the side. A natural, soft smile works best, and keeping your eyes relaxed adds to a genuine expression. For variety, you can vary your speed, walk at a slight angle, or use accessories like hats or bags. Practice in front of a mirror and record yourself for feedback. Avoid stiffness, overthinking your movements, and poor posture to ensure you look confident and natural in every shot. As for the male, just have your body straight, chest out and walk as you would normally. Look at the portrait above! That's the exact technique I had Charly and Nausheen do.
